Works proceed at listed sixth form college

Work proceeds on the only private house still in existence that was designed by famous architect Alfred Waterhouse. Built in 1871 and now part of a sixth form college we have been removing various interventions that have been added to the Grade 2 listed building over the years and finding areas of fabulous tiled walls long forgotten and covered over. Seven years later Alfred Waterhouse would design the world famous Manchester Town Hall in the same style, another project Clan Contracting Limited are working on – more updates on both projects to follow.
